In Drohobych, a 15-year-old boy was injured as a result of a car collision. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The traffic accident occurred on June 12, around 12:30 PM, on Truskavetska Street in Drohobych. According to preliminary findings by law enforcement officers, the driver of an Audi A3, a 47-year-old resident of one of the villages in the Stryi district, hit a pedestrian, a 15-year-old local resident. As a result of the accident, the boy sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
An investigation has been launched by the Drohobych district police department under Part 1 of Article 286 ‘Violation of traffic safety rules’ of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty envisaged by this article is up to three years of restricted liberty, with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years. Law enforcement is determining the circumstances of the incident.
