On May 29, at 3:31 p.m., the Rescue Service “101” received a message that between the village of Rays of Stryy district and the village of Two Volkswagen Golf and Opel Vectra collided on the Stryj-Drohobych highway in the Lower Groves of Drohobych district
Rescuers from Stryi and the operational group of the Stryi district administration were sent to the scene.
As a result of a traffic accident, 7 people were injured and hospitalized in Stryj Central District Hospital. Rescuers transported the victims to ambulances.
At the same time, in order to prevent fires, rescuers disconnected the batteries in both cars.
13 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in the aftermath of the accident.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
