In the town of Dublyany in Lviv district, a man born in 1967 died in a flat fire in a residential building. The Fire and Rescue Service “101” was notified of the blaze on Shevchenka Street on 7 October at 06:04.
The fire broke out in a third-floor flat of a five-storey building, where household items were burning over an area of about 10 sq m. During the search in the smoke-filled flat, firefighters found a man showing no signs of life.
The fire was contained at 06:38 and fully extinguished at 06:43. Firefighters prevented the further spread of the flames to other parts of the building.
The cause and circumstances of the fire are being established by specialists.
