In the town of Hlyniany in Lviv district, rescuers from the 42nd State Fire and Rescue Post pulled a dog out of a well after it was unable to get out on its own.
A local resident contacted the rescue service and reported that her dog had fallen into a well about 5 metres deep in an open area in Hlyniany.
Upon arrival, the emergency workers used a rescue rope to lift the animal to the surface. The dog allowed them to secure the equipment on it, which made it possible to carry out the rescue operation safely.
On the surface, the dog’s owner was waiting for her pet. She thanked the rescuers for their help and for saving the animal’s life.
