A road traffic accident occurred in Horodok, resulting in injuries to a woman.
The accident took place on June 11 around 12:45 PM on Lvivska Street in the city of Horodok, Lviv district. According to preliminary data, the driver of a Volkswagen Touareg, a 19-year-old local resident, hit a pedestrian, a 54-year-old woman from Horodok. As a result, the woman sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigators from the police department No. 1 of the Lviv district police department No. 2 have opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 286 “Violation of traffic safety rules” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to three years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
