The traffic accident happened on December 6, around 5:30 p.m., on Lvivska Street in the town of Horodok, Lviv District.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between Ford Focus cars, driven by a 25-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Yavoriv district, and a VAZ 21099 driven by a 53-year-old resident of one of the villages of the same district.
As a result of the accident, the driver of VAZ 21099 and his passengers, a 44-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman – both residents of one of the villages of the Lviv district, received injuries and were taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
