In the town of Kamianka-Buzka in Lviv district, a fire broke out in a wooden outbuilding on Saksahanskoho Street. The Rescue Service “101” received the report on 06 October at 18:58.
Before the units arrived, neighbours, having noticed the fire, tried to extinguish it on their own. By the time firefighters reached the scene, the roof of the building was already engulfed in flames across its entire area.
Rescuers swiftly began extinguishing the fire while simultaneously protecting nearby structures to prevent the flames from spreading further. During the operation they managed to save 20 chickens and 3 pigs, and also prevented the outbuilding and a garage from being destroyed by the fire.
The fire was contained at 20:32 and fully extinguished at 20:42. As a result of the blaze, none of the people was injured.
