Firefighters Extinguish Major Blaze in Lapayivka

In the village of Lapayivka, a fire broke out in a cottage on 20 April. The blaze engulfed household items and building materials over an area of 130 sq m.

Rescue services reported that the alarm was raised at 12:39, and by 13:32 the fire was brought under control, with full extinguishment achieved at 13:51 involving 10 firefighters and three units of equipment.

Additionally, eight volunteers and one special equipment unit from the voluntary fire brigade of the village of Zymna Voda participated in the firefighting efforts. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

Firefighters stress the importance of adhering to fire safety regulations to avoid similar incidents.
