The incident happened today at noon in a house on Mazepy Street, 13-a. An investigative team is working on the spot. The police reported that the woman was found without signs of life in the elevator cabin on the 6th floor, where the woman lives. The cause of death is currently unknown.
Iryna Marunyak, the deputy mayor for housing and communal issues, was also present at the scene together with the head of Lvivsvitla.
“After arriving at the place, we found that the woman had reached her floor, so the elevator cabin did not fall. Now the investigative-operational group is here, on the spot, and is investigating all the circumstances,” said Iryna Marunyak.
The woman was a widow, she had two minor children aged 10 and 12. Specialists of the “Service for Children” administration are already working with children.
