Since the beginning of the year, 1668 illegally placed advertising structures and signs have been identified in the Lviv community.
The most violations were recorded in Vynnyky and Rudno, where signs are placed on building facades, temporary structures, and fences. Popular are also portable structures such as flags and inflatable objects, which are often displayed on sidewalks. This was reported by the CP ‘Administrative and Technical Management’, which conducted the inspection in cooperation with the Office of Agglomeration and Community Development.
Overall, some illegal structures are placed on public land, while others are on private property. All of them are subject to dismantling, which is already underway. ATM staff initially send owners a demand to legalize the advertising or voluntarily dismantle it. If a business refuses, dismantling is carried out by ATM forces, and the costs are reimbursed by the owners.
The Office of Agglomeration reminds that advertising installation rules apply in the Lviv OTH. Each structure must have a permit or an approved passport project. For convenience, ATM has developed informational briefs with key document processing rules. To obtain a permit, one must submit a set of documents to the CNAP.
