Increased speed on the roads of Lviv Region has led to 19 deaths over the past four months. Within the region, there have been 216 accidents involving casualties. Daily speed monitoring is conducted using TruCam devices to prevent similar tragedies, as speeding is a major threat on the roads.
In total, 13,014 notices have been issued to drivers for violating speed limits. It is worth noting that exceeding the speed limit by more than 20 km/h incurs a fine of 340 hryvnias, while exceeding by more than 50 km/h results in a fine of 1,700 hryvnias. Every instance of speeding endangers road safety. Do not risk your life and the lives of others!
