Traffic Incident in Lviv District: Two Injured
A traffic accident occurred on April 29, around 12:30 PM, in the village of Sokilnyky in the Lviv district.
Details of the Accident
According to preliminary findings by law enforcement, the driver of a GAZ-3302 vehicle, a 42-year-old resident of Sambir district, collided with a Tesla being driven by a 21-year-old Lviv resident, and a VAZ 21013 driven by an 86-year-old Lviv citizen. Following the collision, the truck overturned.
As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the GAZ-3302, a 42-year-old resident of one of the villages in the Stryi district, sustained injuries and were hospitalized.
Investigation
Investigators from Police Department No. 3 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 have opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article’s sanction is confinement for up to three years, with disqualification from driving vehicles for up to three years.
