Two Motorcyclists Injured in Accidents in Lviv District

As a result of recent road traffic incidents in the Lviv district, two motorcyclists were injured. The police urge drivers to strictly adhere to the Highway Code and to remain vigilant.

On 19 April, at around 14:10, a collision occurred in the village of Zymna Voda between a Mercedes Vito minibus, driven by a 47-year-old driver, and a Suzuki Desperado motorcycle ridden by a 31-year-old man. The motorcyclist was injured and taken to hospital.

The second accident happened at 16:00 at the intersection of Horodotska and Sambirska streets in Lviv. There, a Ford Fusion car collided with a Kawasaki Z1000 motorcycle, resulting in injuries to the 31-year-old drivers of both vehicles. The police have launched a criminal investigation under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for up to three years of imprisonment.
