The traffic accident happened on November 21, around 4:15 p.m., in the village of Murovane, Lviv district.
As previously determined by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Renault Trafic car, a 32-year-old resident of Yavorov, hit a cyclist, a 61-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the two-wheeler was injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Police Department No. 1 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
