The traffic accident happened on March 27, around 5:20 p.m., in the village of Rudne, Lviv district.
As previously determined by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between an Audi E-Tron car driven by an 18-year-old Lviv resident and a Honda motorcycle driven by a 20-year-old local resident.
The motorcycle driver died at the scene of the injuries sustained as a result of the accident.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of three to eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years or without it.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
