The traffic accident happened on October 20, around 11:00 a.m., in the village of Yampil, Lviv district.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a Subaru Outback car driven by a 46-year-old resident of Rivne region, a Renault Magnum truck driven by a 53-year-old resident of Kharkiv region and a MAN truck driven by a 36-year-old resident of one of the villages Lviv district.
As a result of the accident, the driver and two passengers of the passenger car from the Rivne region – a seven-year-old boy and a 46-year-old man – were injured and hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of three to eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years or without it.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
