In Lviv, as a result of a car collision, a four-year-old boy was injured. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The traffic accident occurred on October 11, around 18:50, on Kryvchytska Road in Lviv. As law enforcement officers preliminarily established, the driver of a Volkswagen E1 car, a 47-year-old Lviv resident, ran over a pedestrian, a four-year-old resident of the Lviv district. As a result of the accident, the boy sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigators from the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 “Violation of traffic safety rules” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty under the article is up to three years of restraint of liberty, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years. Police are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
