In Lviv, a car accident resulted in a woman being injured, and police are determining the circumstances.
The traffic incident occurred on May 30, around 08:50, on Kryvonosa Street in Lviv. Preliminary findings by law enforcement indicate that the driver of a Ford Focus, a 53-year-old resident of Lviv, hit a pedestrian, a 30-year-old resident of a village in the Zolochiv district. As a result of the accident, the woman sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
The investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1 have opened a criminal case under part 1 of Article 286 \”Violation of Traffic Safety Rules\” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the article’s sanction is up to three years of restriction of freedom, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years. Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
