In Lviv, on Horodotska Street, a road traffic accident occurred, resulting in injuries to a 17-year-old girl. The incident happened on 23 April at around 14:00.
According to preliminary data, the driver of a Volkswagen, a 37-year-old Lviv resident, hit a pedestrian and subsequently collided with a Mercedes-Benz bus. As a result, the minor sustained bodily injuries and was taken to hospital.
Investigators from Lviv District Police Department No.1 have opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty under this article provides for a restriction of liberty for up to three years with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
