A special police operation called “Siren” has been initiated in Lviv. This emergency response plan is activated when dangerous armed criminals flee the scene of a crime and pose a serious threat to public safety.
According to Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, the operation is aimed at maintaining order and protecting citizens. As the situation unfolds, both residents and visitors should be aware of the following:

an increased number of police patrols on city streets;

vehicle stops and ID checks are possible;

temporary disruptions in traffic and movement may occur.
