Man beats paramedic and ambulance driver – Lviv region police launch pre-trial investigation
The offender involved in the attack on the medics while they were helping his wife has been identified.
Thus, on 23 October at 22.25, the police received a report of an attack on ambulance workers on Stryiska Street in Lviv.
The police found that the medics had come to a call to a local resident. When they were helping the woman, her 29-year-old husband, who was intoxicated, started a conflict and beat the paramedic and the ambulance driver. They were later diagnosed with bruises and contusions.
Investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 initiated criminal proceedings over a criminal offence under Part 1 of Article 125 (intentional light bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is correctional labour for up to one year.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, examinations have been ordered.
