Detention of a Suspect in a Robbery on Zelenyi Street in Lviv
Yesterday in Lviv, around 5 PM, we received a report of a robbery on Zelenyi Street. The applicant stated that an unknown man, threatening with a weapon, took his money.
Description of the Attacker and Detention
The victim provided a description of the attacker and noted that he was accompanied by two other men. Receiving the orientation, we immediately set out to find the perpetrator.
On Dunaiska Street, officers noticed individuals fitting the description getting into a Skoda car. Following safety protocols, the crew checked them. One of the passengers was found with an object resembling a pistol.
Further Actions and Responsibility
A rapid response investigative team was immediately dispatched to the scene. The man was detained under Article 208 (Detention by an authorized person) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He faces charges under Part 4 of Article 187 (Robbery committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of eight to fifteen years with confiscation of property.
