In Lviv, a road traffic accident occurred, resulting in injuries to a two-year-old girl. The incident happened on 22 April at around 18:30 on Svobody Avenue. According to preliminary data, a 14-year-old Lviv resident on an electric scooter collided with the child.
As a result, the girl sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalised. Following the incident, investigators from Lviv District Police Department No.1 opened a criminal case under Article 291 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to traffic violations.
The police urge electric scooter riders to adhere to traffic rules, not exceed speed limits, and remain vigilant on the road, especially during dark hours, by using reflective elements.
