The law enforcement officers once again call on all road users to strictly follow the Traffic Rules, not to exceed the permitted speed, not to make risky maneuvers. Take care of life and health – yours and other road users!
So, on July 15, around 12:15, on the street of January 22 in the city of Brody, Zolochiv district, the driver of a Honda motorcycle, a 36-year-old local resident, collided with an Opel Astra car driven by a 40-year-old resident of Busk. As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist was injured and hospitalized.
On the same day, around 7:30 p.m., a collision took place on Lypinsky Street in Lviv between a Renault Master car driven by a 32-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Lviv District and an electric scooter driven by a 22-year-old woman from Lviv.
The driver of the electric scooter was taken to the hospital with injuries.
According to both facts, the investigators of the territorial units of the police of the Lviv region opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
Pre-trial investigations are being conducted, law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the events.
