Motorcyclist Injured in Accident on Sonyashnykova Street in Lviv
The road traffic accident occurred on May 5, around 14:10, on Sonyashnykova Street in Lviv.
Details of the Collision
According to preliminary findings by law enforcement, a collision occurred between an Audi A4, driven by a 23-year-old Lviv resident, and a Mustang MT125-8 motorcycle operated by a 34-year-old Lviv resident.
As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist sustained injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigation and Legal Consequences
Police investigators from division No.2 of Lviv district police department No.2 have opened a criminal proceeding under part 1 of article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty set by the article’s sanction is up to three years of restricted freedom, with the revocation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
