Under the procedural leadership of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, an expert of the State Enterprise “Western Expert Technical Center of State Labor” was exposed and informed of the suspicion of demanding and receiving an unlawful benefit (Part 4 of Article 368-4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the employee demanded and received UAH 42,000 from a private entrepreneur. for the issuance of a positive expert opinion, which is necessary for a business entity to obtain a special permit for the performance of high-risk works and the operation of machines and mechanisms.
The official was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine during the receipt of an unlawful benefit.
Currently, the detainee has been remanded in custody.
The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the investigators of the investigative department of the State Government of the NP in the Lviv region. Operational support – employees of the SBU Office in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
