Road traffic collision involving injury to a motorcyclist occurred on 1 November in Lviv at the junction of Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue and Navrotskoho Street.
At around 14:45, according to preliminary information from law enforcement officers, a Lexus car driven by a 22-year-old resident of the city of Mykolaiv and a Tekken Cross motorcycle ridden by an 18-year-old Lviv resident collided.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist sustained bodily injuries and was taken to hospital.
Investigators of Police Station No. 2 of Lviv District Police Department No. 2 have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of road traffic safety rules.
The sanction of the article provides for a penalty in the form of restriction of liberty for up to three years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for the same period. Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
