In Lviv, the police are establishing the circumstances of a woman’s injury as a result of a Peugeot car collision
The traffic accident happened on October 2, around 8:00 a.m., on Metropolitan Sheptytskyi Street.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Peugeot car, a 35-year-old resident of Lviv, hit a 47-year-old local woman. As a result of the accident, the woman was injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, investigators of the territorial division of the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
The police are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
