On February 2, at 01:20, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in Lviv at 32 Pymonenko Street in a one-story brick abandoned building measuring 5×5 meters.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, everything inside the building was engulfed in flames. The flames also spread to the wooden structures of the building.
While extinguishing the fire, a body without signs of life was found. The deceased man is being identified.
The fire was localized at 01:36 and eliminated at 01:41. The fire destroyed the ceiling over an area of 20 square meters and garbage over an area of 5 square meters.
A total of 9 firefighters and 2 units of special equipment were engaged in the firefighting operations. The cause of the fire and all the circumstances are currently being investigated by law enforcement.
