In Lviv, a Second World War munition was discovered on Bihova Street during construction works. A report about the dangerous find was received by the Rescue Service on 20 July at 14:21.
Specialists from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit of the Lviv Mobile Rapid Response Rescue Centre of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were dispatched to the scene. After inspecting the area, they removed the explosive device and transported it for subsequent disposal in the prescribed manner.
Rescuers emphasise that if you discover any suspicious or explosive objects, you must not touch them, move them or attempt to neutralise them yourself. You should immediately report the find by calling 101 or 102 and move away to a safe distance.
