On 15 June on Washington Street in Lviv, a road traffic collision occurred in which a woman pedestrian was injured. This was reported by Lviv District Police Department No.1.
At around 13:30, the driver of an Audi A6, a 62-year-old Lviv resident, hit a pedestrian – a 62-year-old woman from Lviv.
As a result of the collision, the woman sustained bodily injuries and was taken to a medical facility.
Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – violation of road safety regulations. The article provides for a penalty of up to three years’ restriction of liberty with disqualification from driving vehicles for up to three years.
The police are establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
