In Lviv, at a public transport stop on Naukova Street, passers-by discovered a bag with personal belongings and then reported the find to the 102 emergency hotline.
Patrol police officers and an investigative team from Lviv District Police Department No. 2 arrived at the scene and examined the abandoned bag.
According to preliminary information, inside they found an object resembling a Kalashnikov assault rifle with a folding stock, four loaded magazines, as well as a handwritten note with what may be the details of a serviceman.
Law enforcement officers are examining the scene, seizing the discovered items and preparing them to be sent for expert analysis. Police are establishing the origin of these items, the possible owner of the bag, and clarifying all the circumstances of the incident.
