On Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street, inspectors noticed a pedestrian crossing the road at an unauthorized location. This occurred across four lanes, complicated by weather conditions.
The patrol officers immediately responded to the violation. A resolution was issued to the 45-year-old citizen under part 1 of article 127 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine (CAOU) for ‘Violation of traffic rules by pedestrians’.
In May, 48 traffic accidents involving pedestrians occurred in the Lviv region. In these incidents, 50 people were injured, and unfortunately, 2 people died.
