An incident occurred on Shevchenka Street in Lviv, resulting in injuries to a 78-year-old city resident. On 24 April, the passenger fell inside a ‘Mercedes-Benz Citaro’ bus, driven by a 39-year-old Lviv local.
The woman was taken to a medical facility with bodily injuries. The police have initiated criminal proceedings on the grounds of violating traffic safety rules. According to Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code, the driver faces imprisonment for up to three years with a suspension of the right to drive vehicles for the same period.
The authorities are currently investigating the detailed circumstances of the incident.
