Patrol officers stopped a woman with a child for violating traffic rules.
Yesterday, on Lybinska Street, patrol officers noticed a woman with a child attempting to cross the road at an unauthorized location across four lanes of traffic. Despite the presence of a patrol vehicle, the citizen violated traffic rules. Officers immediately responded to this infraction.
The 40-year-old woman was issued a citation under Part 1 of Article 127 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine (Violation of Traffic Rules by a Pedestrian) and a preventive conversation was conducted. **In July of this year, there were 40 traffic accidents with injured pedestrians in the Lviv region.** In these incidents, 49 people were injured, and unfortunately, 4 pedestrians died.
