On the night of February 6, patrol officers received a call about the seizure of a vehicle on Cheremshiny Street. The applicant reported that he was in the company of people he did not know and suddenly noticed the absence of his VAZ 2106 car.
On their way to the call, the patrol officers noticed the mentioned car at the intersection of Pasichna and Kytaiska streets. He was immediately stopped. The driver was a 20-year-old resident of Cherkasy region with signs of alcohol intoxication. He did not have a driver’s license.
He could not explain what he was doing in this car. An investigative team was called to the scene.
The young man was tested on the Drager device. She showed a result of 0.45 ppm. A protocol was drawn up on him under Part 1 of Art. 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) and passed a resolution under Part 2 of Art. 126 (Driving a vehicle by a person who does not have the right to drive such a vehicle) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
