In Lviv, on Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue, patrol officers Sviatoslav Yurynec and Rostyslav Maradia prevented a suicide attempt. The officers responded to a call about a woman who was trying to do something irreparable.
The patrol officers managed to establish contact with the woman, find persuasive words of support, dissuade her from the fatal step and ensure her safety at the scene.
Afterwards, the woman was handed over to medics to receive the necessary assistance. The police highlight the professional, well-coordinated and decisive actions of the crew, which made it possible to save a human life.
