Motorcycle with signs of counterfeit number plates found by our motorcycle patrol policemen
Yesterday afternoon, motorcycle patrol policemen stopped a KTM 85 SX motorcycle without a licence plate in the village of Bryukhovychi.
The 32-year-old rider provided all the necessary documents. While checking the numbers of the two-wheeler’s units, the inspectors found the frame serial number missing in the prescribed place and signs of possible mechanical intervention.
Since the driver’s actions bore signs of a crime under Art. 290 (Destruction, forgery or replacement of the numbers of vehicle components and assemblies) of the Criminal Code, the motorcycle patrol policemen called the investigative team to the scene.
