On Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue in Lviv, patrol officers stopped the driver of a Renault Clio Symbol for a traffic violation. During the check, it emerged that the driver did not have a compulsory third-party motor insurance policy.
The officers inspected the vehicle and discovered signs of tampering with the VIN, as well as the absence of an identification number on the components and under the bonnet. A response team of investigators and operational officers was called to the scene to clarify all the circumstances.
The car was seized and handed over to investigators for further checks and to establish the origin of the vehicle.
