Patrol officers quickly detained a suspect involved in a knife attack on Nalyvaika Street.
Around 1 PM, a report was received about a knife attack on a man. According to an eyewitness, the other party involved in the conflict was accompanied by a woman and left the scene. The patrol officers, having a clear description of the individuals, immediately set out to locate the suspect. The 26-year-old man was detained on Hospitalna Street within minutes.
One of the crews arrived at the victim, who suffered a stab wound and arterial bleeding. Officers applied a tourniquet to the wounded man’s leg and monitored his condition until the ambulance arrived. The 56-year-old man was hospitalized.
Investigative actions are ongoing. The preliminary qualification of the event is under part 1, article 121, ‘Intentional Grievous Bodily Harm’ of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
