Yesterday afternoon, patrol officers noticed an intercity minibus on Demnyanska Street, which deviated from its route. The police stopped the vehicle. Only the driver’s wife was in the cabin.
The man said that he was on his way to the Primisky railway station after the lunch break. While checking the documents of the 39-year-old driver, the patrol officers found signs of drug intoxication. He was offered to undergo a check-up at a medical institution. He agreed. The test was positive.
The driver was issued a report under Part 1 of Art. 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) Code of Civil Procedure.
Therefore, thanks to the vigilance of the crew, it was possible to remove the driver from transporting people.
