
In Lviv, police officers arrested an offender who stabbed two neighbors.
On May 22, around 9:00 p.m., the police received a report about an incident in a courtyard on Brativ Mikhnovskykh Street. Two local residents received stab wounds. Crime scene investigators and detectives immediately arrived at the scene.
As established by the police, a sudden conflict occurred between a 72-year-old local resident, who was in a state of alcohol intoxication, and his neighbors aged 59 and 45. The pensioner stabbed the men, causing serious bodily injuries. Both victims were hospitalized.
The offender was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Investigators reported to him on suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 1 of Article 121 (“Intentional grave bodily injury”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article prescribes a punishment of imprisonment for a term of five to eight years. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and the court will soon choose a preventive measure for the suspect.
