In Lviv, Teenager Sustains Serious Injuries After Conflict

An incident occurred in Lviv that resulted in serious injuries to a teenager. On 19 April, in a car park in the Sykhiv district, a 21-year-old man made a remark to a group of minors about their appearance. This led to a verbal altercation, during which the man punched a 17-year-old Lviv resident in the head. The blow caused the boy to fall and hit the asphalt.

The victim’s friends called for an ambulance, but after being examined by medics, the participants in the conflict dispersed. The following morning, the teenager’s condition worsened, and at the hospital, he was found to have sustained serious injuries, including a skull fracture. The boy’s father contacted the authorities.

During the investigation, the identity of the attacker was established. Under the procedural guidance of the Frankivsk District Prosecutor’s Office of Lviv, he was notified of suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm through negligence. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Administration.
