In Lviv, at the site of the Russian missile strike on Patona and Vyhovskoho streets, a meeting of the city commission on emergency situations took place. During the field meeting, data on the consequences of the attack were summarised and the scope of assistance to residents was outlined.
At present, two people are considered missing, and a search and rescue operation is under way. Twenty-three injured people have sought medical help, 13 of them remain in hospital, and one person is in a serious condition.
As a result of the strike, 21 residential buildings were damaged, as well as a nursery and a school. On Vyhovskoho Street, specialists have already neutralised the warhead of a missile that did not detonate.
The city authorities have stated that they will fully rebuild the homes of residents who have lost them. Until restoration work is completed, the city will compensate flat rentals: 12,000 UAH for a one-room flat, 15,000 UAH for a two-room flat and 17,000 UAH for a three-room flat. Separate payments are provided for damaged structures: up to 15,000 UAH for each window and 20,000 UAH for an entrance door.
If necessary, those affected will be temporarily accommodated in hotels at the expense of the city budget. The preliminary cost of dealing with the consequences of the strike is estimated at tens of millions of hryvnias.
