Today, April 19, around 8:20 a.m., the police received a report that shots were heard on Descartes Street in Lviv.
Special forces and employees of various police services of the Lviv region immediately arrived at the scene, as well as the investigative and operational team of the police department No. 1 of the Lviv district police department No. 2. As the law enforcement officers established, the resident of one of the apartments of the multi-storey building, a 51-year-old man from Lviv, from the window On the 3rd floor, he fired several shots.
The perpetrator, who was intoxicated, was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
An object similar to a hunting rifle and shell casings were recovered from the scene. Everything removed is directed to expert research.
According to the fact, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Article 296 (Hooliganism committed with the use of firearms or cold weapons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of three to seven years.
