No one was injured as a result of the incident. Law enforcement officers seized her weapon and ammunition.
On December 4, around 4:00 a.m., the police received a report that in one of the hotels on Tershakivtsiv Street in the city of Lviv, an unknown person was rudely violating public order and threatening those present with a weapon.
Employees of the investigative and operational group and other employees of the Lviv District Police Department No. 1, as well as employees of the Security Police Department in the Lviv region, immediately went to the scene of the incident. According to the law enforcement officers, a conflict arose between two companies in the restaurant of the hotel, during which a 24-year-old resident of the city of Dnipro fired two shots from an object similar to a gun.
As a result of the event, no one was injured.
Law enforcement officers detained the perpetrator in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. A device for shooting rubber bullets “Fort-12R” and cartridges for it, as well as a folding knife, were recovered from the scene. Everything removed is directed to expert research.
Investigators of the territorial division of the police informed the detainee about the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 4 of Article 296 (Hooliganism committed with the use of firearms) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of three to seven years.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Soon, the court will choose a preventive measure for the suspect.
