
A resident of Lviv received a message on 13 May about a potential bomb threat at several buildings and a municipal enterprise in the Frankivskyi district. According to the data received by the police at 18:10, an unknown man claimed he was in Odessa with a remote detonator.
Explosive experts and other specialists immediately rushed to the listed addresses. Police searched the premises but found no dangerous items. Following the conducted measures, law enforcement officers determined that the false report was made by a 70-year-old Lviv resident.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the man in accordance with Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine. He faces a fine ranging from fifty to two hundred non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens.
