In Lviv, law enforcement officers have traced a woman suspected of setting fire to a decorative element on the facade of a shop on Kostia Levytskoho Street. The incident occurred during the night of 14 July, with no injuries reported.
Police discovered a post with a video of the arson while monitoring social networks. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine attended the scene and contained the fire.
Information about the incident has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on the grounds of a criminal offence under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional destruction of or damage to property).
Officers of Lviv District Police Department No.1 identified and traced the woman involved in the arson. Based on the overall circumstances, law enforcement officers believe she may have mental disorders, so her personal details are currently being clarified.
The police are asking citizens who have any information that could help establish the identity of this woman to call the emergency line 102.
