In Lviv, on Snopkivska Street, rescuers, medics and law enforcement officers jointly assisted a woman who required medical attention. The incident occurred on 8 September at 14:40.
The rescue service received a report that a woman in a flat on the third floor of a five-storey building was unable to open the door by herself.
Specialists from the 30th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Lviv were dispatched to the scene. Using an extension ladder, they gained access to the dwelling through a window.
Once inside the flat, law enforcement officers, medics and rescuers together provided assistance to the woman and, using a stretcher, transported her to the ambulance. The medics then took the casualty to hospital for further treatment.
The State Emergency Service notes that the well-coordinated work of the emergency services makes it possible to respond swiftly in situations where every minute counts.
