In Lviv, on I. Vilde Street, emergency services worked together to assist an elderly woman who required medical attention. Paramedics were unable to enter the flat on the first floor of a two-storey residential building on their own.
Rescuers from Lviv responded to the call. Using a ladder, they gained access to the property and then, together with police officers, helped carry the woman on a stretcher to the ambulance.
The casualty, born in 1938, was taken to hospital. Rescuers, police officers and medics were involved in the operation.
